If you love Oreos, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate cake, just think about how good they are together!
My son turned 3 a couple weeks ago and I couldn’t just make him regular chocolate cupcakes because, well, I just couldn’t. Now, if you know me you know I prefer cooking over baking and when I do bake, I normally look for a shortcut 😉 That being said, if you can make cupcakes from a box mix, you can make these! There’s nothing extremely precise about this. Just do what feels right. That’s what I normally do and it typically seems to work out for me 😊
Cookies N’ Cream Cupcakes
- Chocolate Cake Mix
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- Oreos (Family Pack)
- Cream Cheese Frosting
Preheat your oven to 350° (or whatever your box calls for).
Line your pan with cupcake liners and put an Oreo at the bottom of each. Place a heaping tablespoon of cookie dough on each Oreo and press down. Bake for 5 minutes.
Crush the remaining Oreos and set aside.
Mix your cake mix and add half of the crushed Oreos to the batter. Spoon the batter on top of your Oreo and chocolate chip cookie. Finish baking for about 20 minutes (or whatever your instructions call for).
Remove your cupcakes from the pan and place on a cooling rack. Ice once completely cooled and sprinkle with the remaining crushed Oreos.
One day, I might actually make everything from scratch. If and when that day comes, I’ll be sure to share it ☺️
