This has to be one of my favorite recipes mostly because of the original version of this. It’s comedy (at least to me it is). I was probably about 10 and this was the first recipe I had ever written. I have no idea where I got the inspiration. Maybe I was watching a cooking show or maybe I had gone out to eat and wanted to make my own. All I know is that if you find obnoxious 10-year-olds funny, then keep scrolling and look at the original below. That being said, I’ve made a few updates. This recipe is a little less obnoxious. But, by all means, do what you want and try the original if that’s what your heart desires ♥️.
I use 3 types of apples because each one has a slightly different texture and level of sweetness, but use any apples you like. This has the perfect blend of sweet and tart for me, but if you like sweeter, add more sugar and/or leave out the cranberries.
